I think your attempt at a poll has been a failure.

People here will bet what time the sun comes up. ...but they only bet with people that don't know that you can know that in advance due to science and meterololololoogy.

People will bet on anything here, literally. It is done out of fun and the nature of Vegas. No lie, you could take bets on how many cars will pass a certain point from 5:00:00 pm and 5:05:00 pm. You could set it up so that the one that is closest will win "x" dollars, or the one that gets the number right on.

How many Resses are in a jar that is 3/4 full. Then, at a pre-arranged time and place open the jar and count them. Winner takes 100 bucks or something. iT'S DONE OUT OF FUN AND NOT DUE TO A GAMBLING ADICTION. Damned, I hate that cap key.

You can do the same thing at home. Place a large pickle jar full of M&M's and Reeses Pieces (diffeent sizes causes fun) and the winner gets,say, 100 bucks. It costs 2.00 to bet and you write down their name and number. They must be present to win. Come the time and date, in front of witnesses, you pull down the jar, carefully, in front of wittnesses again, count out the candy. The person closest wins &100 bucks. ...taint bad for a 2.00 bet. You keep the profits.

We have a lot of garage poker games in Vegas in the Spring untill it gets to hot.
When my wife was alive she was a real poker player shark! She would not cheat and was just great at it. She would play the demure Asian, so scared of guys and Americans. Little did they know that she was taking them for a ride down a bumpy road. She's win about 60% of the time and take these opened shirt, medallion wearing hairy chested old men for their money. One time she made 15 grand in one night!! I almost passed out. We went on one hell of a vacation that year. We both took it to the bank because we were not going in the house with all that $$$ just to get broken in on later!! Nope, we payed our taxes on it and put it in the ATM down the street.

You can gamble on anything in Vegas. How many birds will be in the next flock, after the fifth car, will the sixth be a car, truck, SUV, will it be an instate license, and for extra money (costs more) what will the first letter of the tag be!!??
