Yes, I do live in Las Vegas.
I have since 1977.

Why does Dons posts to other groups have a signal illuminating<> from different spots in TN?
I log into my Memphis system from here in Las Vegas.

Why does he do that?
Because it is a free country and I want to.

First of all, and certainly most important, nobody gives a rat's a$$, but once you cut through all of the bull$hit, all the available information says, unequivocally, that you live and post from Memphis.

my feeling is you dont live in vegas.
you dont know enough about the city. you spend to much time trying to convince people you do live in vegas. If you did live in vegas you'd be able to prove it easily and you can't.

Considering all the people who've met Don in person in Vegas over a long span of years, it seems likely enough he did and perhaps still does.

Knowing the city from what perspective, as a resident or a visitor? There's a ton of residents who don't know squat about Vegas in ways that are helpful to a visitor. A lot of people move to Vegas for reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with the hotel/casino industry and they themselves spend very little time on the Strip or Downtown.

OTOH, there's people who only visit Vegas, who know it better overall than those who've lived in Vegas for years.

It all depends on where your interest are, not where you live.

You make a valid point I think. I know every door and office in all the old casinos (now gone) and a few of the newer ones. Did you know that there is a tunnel under the Strip that was a passage way from the old Desert Inn to the old Frontier! Not to many people even remember that and those of us that do are waking up dead at times. hahahaha

I know Vegas as a hometown, the ways to use (less nowadays) Industrial and Koval to circumvent traffic on the glorious Strip. I know to buy groceries at night to miss the rush, I know where to drop off the electric bill at what was the Nevada Power building (now NVEnergy). Now, I just pay itover the computer, and get billed the same way.

Everyone knows it for their intentions.
